Unfortunately, the use of library videos for a public showing would be a violation of copyright. Our videos are licensed only for private viewing or for classroom use under some pretty strict guidelines. Here's a web page from the American Library Association that addresses the issue: http://www.ala.org/ala/alalibrary/libraryfactsheet/alalibraryfactsheet7.htm You might want to check with the Student Activities & Organizations office or the V.P. for Student Affairs, though. The fact sheet mentions that some organizations can get a blanket license to show movies and IUP might have such a license.
