Generally, the IUP Libraries does NOT have standard textbooks used in IUP classes. We don't collect textbooks because they go out of date very quickly and we usually buy only one copy of a book. That won't fulfull the needs of the IUP classes. Textbooks are generally available at the Co-op bookstore. You can always check to see what books are available at the library by using the PILOT online catalog. Just go to the Library Home Page (www.iup.edu/library) and select the "Online Catalog" option. Once connected to PILOT, you can search by author, title or subject. If the book is available, there will be an entry in the catalog with the location and call number. Sometimes, professors will place copies of the textbooks "On Reserve" in the library. These items are available at the Circulation Desk near the front entrance. Reserve items are included in the PILOT catalog.
