I'm assuming that you are looking for the Disney version of Beauty and the Beast. IUP does have it both in VHS format (call number VCV 5217) and in DVD (DVD 1287). You can request either version at the Media Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of Stapleton library. To find any videorecording that the library has, you can use the PILOT online catalog. Just go to the Library Home Page (www.iup.edu/library) and select the "Online Catalog" option. If you are looking for a specific video title, just use the "Title" option on the main tab. Enter the title you need in the "Search For" box and then click the "Search" button. The system will respond with a list of items that match that title. Look for items that have call numbers beginning with DVD or VCV for videorecordings. If you don't have a particular title in mind, you set the system to search just for videos and then search by keyword. On the main tab, click the "Search Limits" button. This will take you to a page where you can set all kinds of criteria for your search. In the box marked "Medium", use the scroll buttons to move to the bottom of the list and select "videorecording". Then click the "Set Search Limits" button at the bottom. This will return you to the main page which will now have a "Search Limits Are In Effect" note. Now, everything you search by keyword will be limited to videorecordings. Since many of the options on the main search tab are not keyword searches, I do recommend that you select the "Guided Search" tab and use the options on that screen to do the search. All of the searches on that tab are keyword searches.
