The service you need is Interlibrary Loan and the specific system is ILLIAD. To find ILLIAD, go to the Library Home Page (www.iup.edu/library) and click on "Books and More". Then select the "ILLIAD (Interlibrary Loan)" option. This will take you to the ILLIAD login page. In order to make requests, you must be a registered user. Just enter your user ID and password to open the system. If you don't already have an account, just follow the "First Time Users" link. This will take you to a page that explains the system and that has a "First Time Users Click Here" link. Follow that link to the registration page. On the registration page, enter your contact information and specify your user ID and password. Once you submit the registration information, you'll be immediately registered and taken to the main ILLIAD page. On the main ILLIAD menu, you have the option to "Request a Photocopy" (used for articles or book chapters) and "Request a Book". Select the appropriate option and then enter the information about the item you need. Once you submit the request, it will be automatically processed through our ILL system. Most requests take about 3-6 working days. You'll receive an e-mail notification when your material is available.
