Unfortunately, IUP does not own that particular periodical. In order to get a copy of the article you need, you'll have to request it through the ILLIAD Interlibrary Loan system. We can get a copy from another library that does own it. To find ILLIAD, go to the Library Home Page (www.iup.edu/library), and select "Books and More". Then select the "ILLIAD (Interlibrary Loan)" option. This will take you to the ILLIAD login page. In order to make requests, you must be a registered user of ILLIAD. If you don't already have an account, just click on the "First Time Users" link. This will take you to a page that explains the system and that has a "First Time Users Click Here" button at the bottom. Click that link to get the Registration Page. On the Registration Page, fill in the requested contact information (including establishing your user ID and password) and then click "Submit". As soon as you submit the page, you'll be immediately registered and able to enter requests. Once you log in to the main ILLIAD page, you'll find options for "Request a Photcopy" (used for periodical articles or specific book chapters) or "Request a Book". Just select the appropriate request form and then enter the information about the material you need. Once you click "Submit" on request, the information will go to our Interlibrary Loan staff who will find and contact a library that owns the material and ask that it be sent here for you to use. For periodical articles, most of our partner libraries are scanning the article and sending us an electronic copy which we will forward to your e-mail address. If the lending library does send a physical copy of the material, you'll receive e-mail notification that material is available and you'll be able to pick it up at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of Stapleton Library. Most ILL requests take about 3-6 working days.
