You asked about getting a book from the Northpointe Campus.... First, I would recommend double checking the PILOT online catalog to be sure that there is not a copy of the book at main campus. In many cases, branch library books are duplicates of materials in Stapleton. PILOT lists Stapleton and branch items individually, so it's not always immediately apparent that there is another copy. If this book is, indeed, unique to Northpointe, you can request it through the ILLIAD Interlibrary Loan system. You can find ILLIAD by going to the Library Home Page (www.iup.edu/library), clicking on "Books and More" and then on the "ILLIAD" link. This will bring up the ILLIAD login screen. In order to make requests on ILLIAD, you must be a registered user. If you don't already have a user name and password, just follow the "First Time Users" link. This will open a page that explains the system and that has a "First Time Users Click Here" button at the bottom. Click that button to get the registration page and fill in your contact information. Once you submit the page, you'll be immediately registered and taken to the main ILLIAD page. On the main Illiad page, you have the choice of "Request a Photocopy" (used for articles or specific book chapters) or "Request a Book". Select the appropriate reqeust form and fill in the information about the item you need. Since the book you want is at Northpointe, just put that information in the "Notes" field. It would also be helpful if you could include the call number. Once you submit the request, our staff will make arrangements for the book to be sent here for you to use. You'll receive e-mail notification when the book arrives. The process usually takes about 3-6 working days.
