I think part of the problem is that you don't have the correct name of the database. It is called JSTOR (it stands for "Journal Storage"). You can find the database by going to the Library Home Page ( clicking on "Article Databases". This will take you to the alphabetic list of databases. Use the jump bar at the top (click on the "J") or scroll down the list to JSTOR. You can then connect to the database there.
