The information that you see in the online catalog means that this is a new book for the library. It was received on the 10th of September, but has not yet made its way through the cataloging process to receive a permanent location and call number. We normally process books in the order they are received. However, since you need this book now, we can pull the book out of the cataloging process, expedite the cataloging and make it available to you. We even have an online request form for "Rush Cataloging". Just go to the Library Home Page (, click on "Library Services" and then on "Rush Cataloging Request". This will give you a form where you identify the book you need and give us your contact information. Once you submit the form, it will go to our cataloging staff and they will process the book right away. You'll receive e-mail notification when the process is complete and you can then pick up the book at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of Stapleton Library.
