We don't publish the limits on the number of books that can be checked out at one time because the limits are pretty generous and students rarely hit the maximum. Even if you did excede the number maximum number, just ask at the Circulation desk and we can override the system block and let you take out more. Since you asked, though, here are the current system maximums: Undergraduates -- 50 books, Master's students -- 75 books, Doctoral students and Faculty -- 100 books. Remember, that's just the number the system will let you have checked out at one time. If you do try to check another book that puts you over the system limit, there will be a warning pop up for the Circulation Operator. The Circulation Operator then can override the warning, if necessary. Or, you can return some of the books you have checked out and don't need any more and then you can take out more.
