I checked your account in our user database and I think I see the problem that is keeping you from logging in to PALCI. Unfortunately, it is not something that I can fix. Your account has an outstanding $15.00 fee assessed for a damaged book. The note on the account is: "Charge is for marking and highlighting in book which is now unusable. Charge is from Mansfield University." This was a PALCI book (Heart of Darkness) you borrowed during the summer and the lending library charged us for damage. The amount was billed to you on the 31st of July 2009. PALCI checks our user database to see if the patron is in good standing. Unfortunately, your account is over the PALCI limit for outstanding fees, so it will not allow you to log in. Your account must be cleared before you will be able to use PALCI and I don't have authorization to do that. You can make a payment at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of Stapleton Library. If there has been an error and wish to dispute the fee, you will need to talk to the Circulation supervisor to adjust the account. The Circulation supervisor is available Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. I'm sorry that I am unable to fix your problem directly, but I hope this information helps.
