Unfortunately, IUP doesn't own that book. However, you can request it from another library by using our Interlibrary Loan system. You can request it from the PALCI (Pennsylvania Academic Library Consortium, Inc.) service. To find PALCI, go to the Library Home Page (www.iup.edu/library), click on "Books and More" and then click on the "PALCI (Interlibrary Loan)" link. This will connect you to the service. You log in with the 16-digit number on the bottom of your I-card (not your @ banner number). Once you are logged in to PALCI, you can search by author, title, subject, or ISBN (International Standard Book Number). Once you find the item in the database, click the blue "Request" button to order it. The system will confirm your name, where you want to pickup the book (choose IUP Main Library) and your e-mail address. When everything is correct, click the "Submit" button. The PALCI system will send a request to a library holding the book. That library will ship it to IUP and you'll receive e-mail notification when it arrives. Then you can pick up the book at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of Stapleton Library. The process takes about 3-6 working days.
