Unfortunately, IUP does not own either of the books you mention. To get copies, you would need to request them through our Interlibrary Loan system. We will try to borrow them from another library for you. To request the books, you will need to use the ILLIAD system. To find it, go to the library home page (www.iup.edu/library), click on "Books and More" and then on "ILLIAD (Interlibrary Loan)". This will take you to the ILLIAD login page. In order to use ILLIAD, you must be a registered user. If you don't already have an account, just follow the "First Time Users" link. This will take you to a page that explains the system and that has a "First Time Users Click Here" button at the bottom. Click that button to get the registration page. On the registration page, enter your contact information and specify your user ID and password and then "Submit" the page. You'll be immediately registered and taken to the ILLIAD main menu. On the ILLIAD main menu, you have several choices. "Request a Photocopy" is used for articles or book chapters. You can also "Request a Book" or "Request a Video". Select the appropriate form and then fill in the information about the item you need. Once you submit the request, our staff will identify a library that has the material and ask that it be sent here for you to use. When the item arrives at IUP, you'll receive e-mail notification and you can pick up the item at the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor of Stapleton Library. The average turnaround time for an ILLIAD request is 3-6 working days.
