The Library has a number of books on careers, such as the Occupational Outlook Handbook or Choosing a Vocation by Frank Parsons. You find these book by searching the PILOT online catalog. Go to the Library Home Page (www.iup.edu/library) and click on the "Online Catalog" link. Then you can search by title or by subject. I would suggest that you use the subject heading "Occupations".
However, IUP has an excellent resource for information on careers with "Major and Career Exploration Center" that is part of the Advising and Testing Center in Pratt Hall. Their web site is : http://www.iup.edu/exploremajors/default.aspx
The Center has careeer counselors, peer advisors, interest inventory software and other resources to help you explore and choose a major or career.
