Hi Rita,
Yes! We do. We have a collection of five tutorials on basic/routine library tasks. They are located on our YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/IUPLibraries) here. These, of course, don't cover everything students need to know, but they provide a good foundation. The topics of these videos are:
- Do you have this book?
- How do I find books on a particular topic (keyword search)?
- How do I find books on a particular topic (subject-heading search)?
- How do I find the full-text of an article?
- What if the library doesn't have access to the full-text of the article?
Many times database vendors will create tutorials for their databases as well. For example, EBSCO has a number of different short videos that cover basic searching, advanced searching, ebooks, etc. We also hope to create more tutorials specific to IUP in the future. Hope this helps!
