The Serials Department is located on the ground floor of Stapleton Library. If you look at the full record for the journal in PILOT, there will be a holdings statement that shows what volumes and years we have of that title and where the issues are located.   Many items in the Serials Department will have a specific location of "Back Stacks".  These volumes are housed in the Stabley wing of the ground floor and are arranged alphabetically by the title of the journal.   Materials listed as being in the "Current Stacks" (mostly the latest year or two of the journal) are located on the shorter shelves on the west side of the Stapleton part of the ground floor.  If the location is given as "Microarea", these items items are in the microforms cabinets on the east side of the ground floor.  Library users do not have direct access to the microforms items.  These materials must be requested at the desk just outside the stairwell to the ground floor and student assistants will retrieve the materials for you.  The students can also show you how to place the materials on the microform readers and how to make copies if necessary.
