Unfortunately, we are unable to supply alumni with access to most electronic resources because of the licenses we have with the database providers. The costs of the commercial databases we purchase are most often based on the number of potential users. We only include current students and employees in that count so access is restricted to those groups. To add alumni would significantly increase the costs of the databases.
However, alumni can always access library resources by using equipment located on campus. We do provide guest access from computers in Stapleton for campus visitors.
Another alternative you might investigate is to check with your local public library. Many public libraries license databases directly or are part of state-wide cooperatives that provide access. You may be able to access the resources you need there.
