The Library has a number of books on careers.  You find these book by searching the online catalog.  Go to the Library Home Page (www.iup.edu/library) and choose Library Catalog from the Search In drop down menu. In the Search Our Collections box you can enter a title or subject.  I would suggest that you use the subject headings "occupations" or "vocational guidance".

The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a publication from the US Department of Labor that includes information about the nature of work, working conditions, training and education, earnings and job outlook for hundreds of different occupations.  It is available online at https://www.bls.gov/ooh/.

IUP has an excellent resource for information on careers with the Career and Professional Development Center. The Center has career counselors, peer advisors, interest inventory software and other resources to help you explore and choose a major or career.  Their offices are located on the basement level of Stabley Library.  Learn more about their services online at www.iup.edu/exploremajors/.
