Reference librarians are available for immediate assistance Monday-Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and Friday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.  There are several ways for you to connect with a librarian.

You can stop by the Stapleton Reference Desk to talk with a librarian in person.  You can also call (724) 357-3006 or text (724) 401-1984.

From certain IUP Libraries webpages, including the homepage and databases, look for the Chat with a Librarian option.

Outside of our regular reference hours, you can email your question through the "Send us a Question" page, browse or search our FAQs, or contact the librarian for your department to make an appointment.
